My fiancee and I will be taking our honeymoon on the Norwegian Sun for the Oct 9th Caribbean sailing. Our previous experience cruising has been with Princess where on formal nights men are expected to wear a suit (or a jacket at a minimum) on formal nights. My fiancee and I prefer to dress up more formal and I wear a tuxedo and she wears an evening gown.

My question is how much of a minority will we be in on the Norwegian Sun? If we will be the only two so dressed up? We would prefer to have some more formal photos taken during our honeymoon as well as casual ones.

Also are jackets a rare occurrence in the MDR for regular nights? What about the upper end restaurants?

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Brand new to this board & to posting here so bear w/ me....

My husband & I are very interested in the look of the new Star Pride (and Windstar in general) and are considering one of their sailings for next July. Got excited for the 2 for 1 email that showed up in my Inbox this morning. Is anyone else interested in Star Pride? There doesn't seem to be much buzz here on the Forum about it.....

Does anyone know how long the 2 for 1 is for and if you have to pay in full to get it? What's everyones opinion of Windstar to begin with?

Sorry for all the questions, just a couple of confused Newbies here....

Thanks in advance!!:)

I was just wondering- if we purchase the all you can drink package, does it include drinks like Caipirinhas in specialty restaurants? They are listed at $6.75.

On another note, does anyone know where I can find a link/list to the beverages included in the package?

Just received a flyer from a UK TA advertising AZ cruises. It states in a red bubble 'all drinks and gratuities included'.

Something doesn't add up. It's not good enough for the ship's crew to blame TA's for incorrect advertising.

I called them to check and they insist that Azamara told them that all drinks are included. I told them they need to speak with Azamara, as many customers will be very unhappy.
I despair.

In 2008 Princess booked us on a flight for 10:30am. Made it no problem. Our flight will be Vancouver to Toronto and Toronto into Boston. I am looking at 11am. I will do luggage express and self disembark. If I don't do this flight the others will be overnight flights which I hate or staying overnight in Vancouver and flying out early in the morning.

So what is the earliest you have made it to Vancouver airport??

Thanks
